Tenders are invited on a fixed price basis from competent suppliers for the design, manufacture, install and commission of pontoons, access gangways and walkway at Mall Quay, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. The Ballyshannon pier (Mall Quay) is located where the River Erne enters the Erne Estuary. The pier is 200 – 300 years old and is a listed structure with a slipway added for launching in more recent years. The pier is not suitable for permanent berthing due to the flows and current generated by the Erne Tail Race. The Estuary and beyond has been renowned as a fishing ground for generations and remains popular for many local fishermen. Up to 20 small vessels (less than 8m) operate here from March to October.

Donegal County Council, in collaboration with the National Transport Authority, have identified locations where new or upgraded bus stops and shelters are to be installed. Initially, 13 bus stops and shelters are to be upgraded under an initial scope of works. Donegal County Council is now seeking to appoint one suitably competent civil engineering contractor to deliver the bus stop upgrades.

Donegal's pier winches and cranes are provided for the convenience of the fishing communities around Co. Donegal. Donegal County Council now requests quotes from suitably qualified contractors for the provision of response and planned maintenance services and repairs. This Contract requires the Contractor to perform all associated services for the maintenance works for the cranes in accordance with the conditions and specifications.

Theme 2: Thriving and Peaceful Communities Social Participation and Combating Exclusion, SPACE, Countywide PEACEPLUS Programme Donegal County Council is currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified organisation , or collaboration of organisations from the public, private, or community and voluntary sector to design and deliver Social Participation and Combating Exclusion SPACE ,Countywide PEACEPLUS Programme.

The proposed project is comprised of the following measures • Site Clearance and removal of roadside hazards including reduction of mature trees. • Curve widening to facilitate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). • Earthworks to construct road verge with management of invasive species. • Retaining Wall Structures including instream works and embankment construction. • Rock Armour including in stream works and reconstruction of riverbed. • Timber post and tension mesh boundary fencing. • Management of fibre optic adjacent to infrastructure improvements within the Site. • Replacement of junction signage and demarcation. • Other accommodation works

The provision of Architect-Led Design Team Services for the delivery of a two-storey housing development of 4no. social housing units, consisting of 3no. 3-bed houses and 1no. 2-bed house, on-street parking, connection to existing services and all associated site development works at Rathaneeny Park, Raneany West, Laghy Co. Donegal.

Donegal County Council are seeking competent marine contractors to remove sand type material, using the plough dredging technique, from the access channel to Buncrana pier. Dredging operations will be required to achieve a 10m wide (at the base), -1.5m CD deep channel with 30 degree sloped sides. The successful contractor will be required to comply with the conditions of the Dumping at Sea Licence (S0011-03) issued by the EPA.
